Falcons and Kestrels have been experimenting with electricity. They tried to light bulbs using wires, batteries and a variety of metallic objects ‘pinched’ from our cupboard!!!!!

On Wednesday, 22nd June year 6 visited the University of Reading London Road campus to take part in a day organised by LASAR( Learning about science and religion) https://blogs.reading.ac.uk/lasar/
We took part in sessions including: illusions and how brains can be tricked; why we are unique and we debated if we should ‘recreate dinosaurs from DNA – after making DNA helices from sweets and what miracles are and can they be explained by science?
The children have been using scale to work out the distance from one South American city to another. They then converted their answer from kilometres to miles. We all had great fun and were able to use and apply our knowledge of KPIs from maths lessons.
Faija and I have decided to team up and write about Legoland together.
Legoland Windsor resort is an adventure for everyone. On Sunday,Kaitlyn went on a trip to LEGOLAND here is her view “It was great fun and I enjoyed all of the rides there.”

The ‘chosen sous-chefs’ had the pleasure of being in Red or Green Team; represented by Head Chefs Mrs Love and Miss Urwin, who both currently hold two Mich-oorlands’ Stars!
